Andrew Martinson is looking for concept artists for a game called Battleship:
I am working on a game called Battleships, it is a simplified MOBA style game. I have attached some images for reference I was hoping for some concept of old wooden pirate ships. I also need cover art, I would love to see something like an old pirate ship crashing over a wave and firing cannons during a squall. I would also like to avoid the look of the flying Dutchman from the Pirates of the Caribbean movies. I like the attached image “Pirate” but less spooky more ass kicking. I would love to meet and talk with anyone who would be interested in working with me on Battleships.
Please contact him at amarti37@student.scad.edu.

Huifen (Rainy) Fu is looking for concept artists for her motion media project:
Setting: Old England (the time of Isaac Newton’s era as my story is based on Isaac Newton himself)
Requirements from the concept artist(s): Background design, an interior room design, character design of Isaac Newton, character design of Isaac Newton’s lover (it will be just silhouettes for her).
Please contact her at huiffu20@student.scad.edu.

October 19th, 6 PM
Becca (nattosoup) and I have a very busy fall ahead of us. Originally, we were not planning on doing all of these conventions, but things kind of all started coming together. So here are the cons, by date:
Mechacon - CONFIRMED - September 7-9, New Orleans, LA.
Becca and I both have artist alley tables at this con:
We are 503 and 602, respectively.
Interventioncon - CONFIRMED - September 21-23, Washington DC
Becca will be tabling and I shall be assisting her, probably with a few items of my own for sale. We are attending with @chrispco of precocious
Anime Weekend Atlanta - CONFIRMED - September 28-30, Atlanta, GA
Becca and I may be doing panels and workshops at AWA, and possibly have work in the art auction. Stay tuned for updates.
New York Comic Con - CONFIRMED - October 11-14, New York, NY
Becca and I are NOT tabling here, just talking to companies and having our portfolios reviewed. Hopefully we will be attending with Julie.
(and really hopefully, we will get a chance to meet Tom Hiddleston!)
Sugoicon - CONFIRMED - November 16-18, Cincinnati, OH
Technically, sugoicon is in kentucky, but close enough. Becca and I would be tabling and doing panels, but as of right now we are unconfirmed. Again, check back for more updates.
Hey all! If you don’t remember me, I posted some concept work a while back for Red Riding, but I just wanted to give you all an update on what is happening. My usual partner in crime, Becca Hillburn and I are regular convention attenders as artists and panelists. We have a very busy con season this fall and we’d love it if you guys supported us in our various endeavors either by visiting our tables or passing along the word of our schedule.
We have the honor of presenting you an interview with the extremely talented Terryl Whitlatch. She is well known for her creature designs done for the Star Wars prequels.
A special thanks to Sebastián Cevallos (tumblr) for getting us this fantastic interview!
Environment paintings I did for my Independent Study with Ben Phillips. They’re centered around two horror themes for videogames, one where you play a skydiver who is stranded in a spooky forest; and the other where you play a scientist in a deep sea station that is being taken over by some lovecraftian entity.
