The best art pass from our workshop has been chosen! Congratulations to Drew Soman and his cellular/alien reinterpretation of a Team Fortress 2 map!

Melissa Curtin was also kind enough to write some feedback on each of the other participating entries. If you participated and like to read her review, e-mail us and we’ll relay that info to you.

We have the honor of presenting you an interview with the extremely talented Terryl Whitlatch.  She is well known for her creature designs done for the Star Wars prequels.

A special thanks to Sebastián Cevallos (tumblr) for getting us this fantastic interview!

Action mount thingy I did for fun in Mia’s class. The final extra credit assignment called for our students to create the vehicle they’d use if they were in an action movie. Whilst I was thinking on doing a really obnoxious post-apocalyptic muscle car a la Mad Max the tought of “Big-ass creature with lamprey-like mouth” flew by. I mulled over it a bit and went “Screw you, car! I’m drawing this shit instead!”

Thus, Lamprey T-Rex was born :D

Great quarter everyone! Have an awesome summer break!
